E-mail Print PDF

On behalf of all performers on Saturday - Bodi, Tamir, and myself - thank you again for inviting us to come showcase what we do and share our passion in Chinese music. I hope everyone enjoyed the event and left with a much better understanding of the Chinese Moon Festival as well as arts and culture.
We would like to follow up with a couple items:

1. Upcoming throat-singing workshop
Tamir will host a public event on Sunday, Nov 12,from2-3:30pm at the Old Town School of Folk Music. He would appreciate if the Museum can help promote and spread the words:http://www.oldtownschool.org/classes/detail/?courseid=5765#LOC.
In addition, his ensemble recently produced an album which was submitted to Grammys 2018 nomination: http://www.windmusic.com.tw/shop/edm/garmmy_Between-the-Sky_Prairie/. This album can be purchased online or iTunes.
Here is also a link for a short introduction about making the album:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErzOhtlvJ-c
He can also be followed on Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/hargana.tamir

2. Yin He Dance - upcoming benefit event, performance, and classes
Please consider supporting Yin He's upcoming benefit event this Saturday, Oct 14, with its members and network. I will forward the detail information shortly after this email.
